Is New York Driving You Crazy?
Tuesday evenings in March 2013
March 5th, 12th, 19th, 7:30-9:00pm
Serenity Health Arts
280 Madison Ave (@40th Street), NYC, NY
Honk! Screech! Rush, rush, rush! Wow, New York is exhausting and overwhelming. Of course, it’s a wonderful place but it also takes a toll on our health. We can’t stop the city but we can develop our internal resources to feel more resilient, peaceful and recharged.
Join us for a hands-on workshop series where you learn to recognize the signs and effects of stress, how your nervous system is working overtime, and what you can do about it.
Drawing from Eastern and Western traditions, psychotherapist Maya Geyer and acupuncturist Christiane Siebert help you understand and address stress in your life. You will learn techniques for self-care that you can take home with you to create ongoing well-being.
Cost: $75.00 (Early Bird: $60.00 if you register before January 31st)

What's My Body Telling Me?
Tuesday evenings in February 2013
February 5th, 12th, 19th, 7:30-9:00pm
Serenity Health Arts
280 Madison Ave (@40th Street), NYC, NY
You know the feeling! You’re in pain and wish it would just go away. But what if our bodies are trying to tell us something? Maybe pain has an important message for us about something we are about to ignore. Many ancient traditions believe our pain reveals imbalances in our body and mind.
Psychotherapist Maya Geyer and acupuncturist Christiane Siebert approach this question from different angles to make sense of our body’s signals and learn to develop a stronger sense of well-being.
In this workshop series, you will explore your body’s own language, discover tools to connect with yourself and mitigate the effects of stress. We keep this class small so that you can receive more personal attention. You will walk away with skills to keep this conversation going and to develop a sense of calm and peace you can return to as needed.
Cost: $75.00 (Early Bird: $60.00 if you register before January 31st)
